Desi's First Christmas

Merry Christmas! Desi had a great first Christmas. At almost 7 months old she was able to enjoy opening presents just enough to make it fun. We had a wonderful day with family and friends.

Desi on Christmas Eve getting a feel for things...

Learning how to open things with her teeth!

Finally, the big day.
Kiana and Kayla were on hand to help Desi with her presents.

Cute Pictures

Here are some cute pictures of Desi from December.

Solids Are Yummy and Fun

Desi's enjoying her rice cereal. We've moved up to two feedings a day. Mommy and Daddy don't like what comes out the other end!

Yes, she's in her walker. I haven't decided which highchair I want yet. The walker actually works pretty well.

Therapy is Great

Desi's has been getting physical therapy for her torticollis. Anabel is great with her. Desi's head is doing much better. And it doesn't get much better than getting a massage at 6 months!

CCA Childrens' Christmas Party

I took Desi to the CCA Children's Christmas Party on December 7th to see Santa.

We invited Maria and Elizabeth to join us.

Desi's first meeting with Santa!

We hung out with Adam and Kai for a little bit too.

Santa gave them some nice presents!

Cousins Forever!

Desi and Airee... Cousins forever!

It's amazing how big Desi is and how small Airee is. They are 13 months apart.

6 Months Old

Desi turned 6 months on November 30th. Wow. Time sure flies when you are having fun!

Desi had a full day. We went to see Uncle Kieran. We came home and played with our piano.

Had some tummy time.

Took a walk.
And celebrated Grandma's birthday.

The last pose of the evening.
Look out for the fun pictures of Desi learning how to eat solids.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Unfortunately, we didn't get a still picture of Desi with the THREE turkeys we had for thanksgiving dinner. Mommy was too busy playing with her new video camera. Now she just has to learn to post videos.

Toes Taste Good Too!

Being sick is no fun!

After a great weekend with Auntie Kristen, Uncle Brandon and Grace (we went car shopping with them), Desi had a fever on Sunday night. Poor thing! This is her third or fourth cold since she was born, but her first fever. The silver lining is that Mommy and Desi snuggled in bed together all night. Desi's still sick, but no fever.

November 4, 2008 - YES WE CAN!

What an unbelievable, historic night. Desi and I took a walk to the polling places around 5:30pm to see how things were going. It was very quite. Scary. Before going back inside, we had to take a picture with our first ever political yard sign. CHANGE!

And our family picture on election night.
When Desi's 90, she can tell her grandchildren that she was born the year the first black man was elected President. By then we should have black men, white women, black women, gay men and women and martians as President! :)
We had a little impromtu election night party. As you can see from the pictures below, we couldn't have been more excited.
Dan was actually very excited, but also very sick. Poor thing.

The shot of the day!

Creeping

Just as she's starting to "master" sitting up, Desi's on the move.

Starting to crrreeeeppp!
Showing off the Price booty.

Working the leggs.

Halloween Picture of Airee

Just got this picture of Airee dressed up as a pirate for Halloween. Too cute!

Halloween 2008

Happy Halloween! Desi was getting ready for the big night by sucking down her milk. She can pretty much hold her bottle now.

As you can see, Desi was a pumpkin. And I apparently was "Creepy". : )
There's Auntie Alisa.

There's Daddy with the Price girls. Kayla, Kiana and Desi.

Desi learning how to eat candy.

Daddy, Desi and Auntie Kelli.

Desi in her "my first halloween" onesie (thanks Auntie Kristen) and Auntie Charmaine.
It was a long night!

One last picture of our cute pumpkin!
